Dear Pages’ parents,

We’ve all been so fortunate to enjoy such nice weather, finally! April was a busy month for our class. We had lots of fun during the Week of the Young Child: with the Feast, the barbeque, and all of our fun activities. We also learned about bugs, the importance of caring for the Earth, and all about the weather. Thank you to all who helped make our Spring party a success! Last month, we said goodbye to Hannah, as she moved up and we welcomed Isabelle to our class.

Happy spring! It’s starting to warm up enough for us to enough some outside time! March was a busy month for the pages.  We learned lots of new things about Dr. Seuss, spring, baby animals, and the circus.  We also enjoyed special treats for St. Patrick’s Day.  April has many fun things in store for us as well.  We will celebrate the Week of the Young Child and enjoy a spring party. More information will be posted soon.

Pages Newsletter South: March 2014

Finally, Spring is on its way! It will be so nice to start getting the children outside more often. Keep in mind that even if the morning is cool, we will likely go out in the afternoon, so please plan accordingly. Also, if you have an extra “playground-only” pair of pants you would like us to put on your child on days when the mats may be wet, we would be happy to do so. This is also a great time to remember to update your child’s sunscreen.

We hope everyone enjoyed “Sweets With Your Sweetie”. Thank you all for your generosity in helping to make our class Valentine’s party a success! We truly appreciate you.

Cohen and Jaxon will be moving up to the Jesters class at the beginning of the month. They will be greatly missed! We welcome Shivi and Aereon into our class, and look forward to having them.

Pages Newsletter South: February 2014

Wow! It’s already February!  What a busy year it has been already!  We have learned about ice and icicles, winter animals, and shapes.  We have played with snow and also been able to spend a few days outside.  Remember we are able to go outside at 40so please make sure your child is dressed appropriately.  We would like to welcome Jaxon, Carson, and our new afternoon teacher, Miss Danielle, to the Pages. We are looking forward to a fun and busy February!

It’s December! Let the holiday craziness begin! We wanted to say a big THANK YOU to all the parents that came to the Thanksgiving feast and brought goodies for us to enjoy. Happy autumn! Wow how the time flies! September has brought several changes to the Pages.  We said goodbye to Brett and Kennedy and now have some new friends.  We would like to welcome Rohan and Emma to our class.  The weather is also starting to change.  Please check your child’s cubby to make sure they have the appropriate clothing in the right size and a jacket.

Pages Newsletter South: Sept. 2013

September is here, and we are already off to a great start this year! Last month we enjoyed learning about sports, transportation, Westerns, and getting prepared for a new school year. We welcomed Elise to our class, and know Noah is enjoying the Jesters. This month is sure to bring about lots of fun and changes as well. We would like to wish Brett, Alex, and Kennedy Happy Birthday this month! Thank you to all of our families who attended the Academy picnic! It was great to see all who came. We look forward to seeing you at “Back to School” night on September 4th! The fun continues next month at Boo Blast!

Welcome to August! July was full of exciting activities in the Pages’ class.  We enjoyed water play days, hearing thunder and watching the rain at the window, and spending time outside enjoying the warm summer weather.  August is sure to bring many more events for us to share and enjoy.  We are excited to welcome Ms. Jess to the Pages class! Pages Newsletter South: July 2013

Welcome to the month of July! Summer is now in full swing and The Pages have been enjoying the warm weather. We’ve had fun taking walks, running around on the playground, and getting to play in water! We hope your family enjoyed celebrating Father’s Day. We had a good time making gifts for Dad! July is sure to bring many more fun and exciting learning experiences.

Pages Newsletter South: June 2013

Woohoo! It’s finally June! The Pages are ready for some warm, dry days to play outside.  During May we worked on using our words and being kind to our friends.  We will begin water play this month so please make sure to bring your child a bathing suit, towel, swim diapers, and water shoes to leave in their cubby.  Weather permitting, each Wednesday this summer we will get to play in the water!  Thank you for all the delicious goodies that were brought in during Teacher Appreciation week.  We also want to say thank you for taking time with us during Parent-Teacher Conferences.  We love being able to watch your children grow!
