Lords and Ladies Newsletter East: April 2016

The Lords and Ladies have been hard at work and play throughout the month of March.  We had a fun week learning about Dr. Seuss, dressed up silly and ate fun foods. We also learned about St. Patrick’s Day, green, and all about bunnies, eggs and spring. We will continue to learn about such topics as the weather changing, earth and nursery rhymes. Thanks to everyone who brought in eggs and items for our egg hunt and party. The children had a fun time finding eggs, seeing the bunny, and celebrating the arrival of spring.

The Lords and Ladies are working on learning their full names, mom and dad’s name, their birthday and what street they live on. They are doing well learning this information.

With the change in the season, we would like to ensure that your child is protected during our outdoor play.  Please remember to apply sunscreen to your child every morning before arriving at school if you would like.  We will be sure to reapply sunscreen following naptime for our afternoon outdoor playtime.    In addition, please be sure your child has a bottle of sunscreen at school along with the topical application form. We look forward to spending many more days enjoying and exploring nature!
