October was jam packed with tons of activities. We had a visit from several firefighters and fire trucks which, was great fun! We studied apples for a whole week and the kids got to use a special peeler to help peel and cut the apples and we made our own applesauce together! We had a great fieldtrip to Peach Tree Farm. Thank you to Kurt and Christine for joining us on the fieldtrip. Boo Blast was a success and lots of fun! All the costumes were great. Thanks to everyone for bringing items for the party!

In November we will be studying: All About Me, Shapes, Turkeys, Being Thankful

Please be sure to send coats, hats, and gloves everyday as the weather gets cooler. We will go outside as long as weather permits.

Please continue sending a water cup to school each day for your child and taking it home in the evening to wash.

In November we will have the annual Academy Feast. Families are encouraged to join us for a feast at lunch time. There will be a sign-up sheet on the class door soon for you to indicate how many guests will be joining us for the feast.

The Nutcracker Performance will be coming up soon on December 12th. Make sure to gather all items needed for your child’s costume and return them in a labeled bag to Ms. Emily.

The rest of the year will be jam packed with lots more fun activities and holidays. We look forward to enjoying all of it!
