Pixies Newsletter South: October 2013

Dear Pixies’ parents,

Fall is upon us and with it comes cooler weather and many holidays!  We look forward to some great outdoor time and many art activities. As you may have already figured out, our mats on the playground give off black stuff that stains on clothes and shoes.  If your child wears something that you do not want stained, please send a change of clothes that we can change them into before we go out.  If you have not participated in any of the Academy annual festivities, please ask for more information about them.  You will not want to miss out on any of them!

We will welcome Anna and Parker to our classroom this month.  They will move up from the Sprites class.  We will do our best to make this an easy transition.  Cohen and Jack will graduate to the Pages class.  We know that they will enjoy playing with their older friends.

Important dates:  17th & 18th Individual and class pictures (we will let you know when our day is)

24th Jayce’s birthday

30th Trunk or Treat at our East location 6:15pm

31st Annual Academy Boo Blast

Nov. 21st Annual Academy Thanksgiving Feast

Nov. 28th & 29th Academy closed for Thanksgiving

Dec. 12th Annual Academy Nutcracker production

Since the weather is turning cooler, please ask to check your child’s extra clothes bag for appropriate wear.

Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions or concerns about anything.

Audrey, Mary and Kelli
