Lords and Ladies Newsletter East: October 2013

September Happenings

Throughout September we stayed busy learning about ourselves, friends and family.  We implemented elements of each topic into our daily activities as we learned of and created collages, painted free art creations, and went on “hunts” for colors and shapes in our surroundings.  The children especially enjoyed participating in color hunts. We have also been working on our seasons of the year, recently focusing on fall.  We learned of leaves changing colors and cooler weather.  As always we have continued practicing holding and using our writing and painting tools and learning of different letters.  We are looking forward to all of the exciting events coming up in October!

Pumpkin Patch

We will be visiting Peach Tree Farms for a pumpkin patch field trip on the morning of, October 22nd.  We encourage parents to participate in this special outing.  A letter providing additional details of this trip will be given out shortly.
