As we greet warm weather, many of us like to spend more time outdoors. These are some of the more rewarding times spent as families. It is important to remember that children need to be taught your expectations when you go to a park, ride bikes outside, or send them out to play. Set boundaries for where they can go and with their behavior. With young children, as safety is a concern, outside time requires more active supervision. When children are allowed to be very physically active, it affords you the chance to have them more focused for sit down activities such as reading, art, and board games with family when you come in for the evening. Enjoy your children!
