Sprites Newsletter East: March 2013

February Recap

We had a fun month filled with gross motor exploration and development. The Sprites were also able to enjoy some Valentine’s festivities with Sweets With Your Sweetie. And of course, who could forget the SNOW! We are so glad everyone made it home safe in the snow that fell so quickly.


March 4 – 8 – Dr. Seuss Week

March 10 – Daylight Saving time begins

March 17 – St. Patrick’s Day

March 20 – First Day of Spring

March 29 – Annual Spring Party/ Egg Hunt

This month we will be having a special celebration in honor of Dr. Seuss’ birthday. This will take place March 4-8. Monday the 4th wear mixed up clothes, Tuesday the 5th wear a hat and stripes, Wednesday the 6th wear pj’s and silly socks, Thursday the 7th bring in a Dr. Seuss book to school and on Friday the 8th we will have a special snack at school. We are looking forward to Dr. Seuss related arts and crafts. We hope this will be a fun week for everyone!

This month we will also be working on sitting up with some friends and pulling up with others. We will also be doing lots of sensory activities this month.
