Lords and Ladies Newsletter East: January 2013

We have had lots of fun during the month of December that the children have enjoyed. We have learned about holidays, colors, and much more. We are starting to incorporate some sign language into our circle time with colors and letters of the alphabet.  Thank you to all of our families for your help in making the Nutcracker so successful.  The children did a great job.  We also enjoyed our Holiday party.

Using the Potty

We continue to have many successes with using the potty.  Many of the children who are in diapers are recognizing when they are wet or that they feel a need to try and sit on the potty.  We continue to encourage all of our friends who have started using the potty.

Cubby Check

As the weather turns colder, we would appreciate if you would check your child’s cubby for weather appropriate clothing.  Also, please mark names on clothes as they sometimes get mixed up.  Please remember that we try to go outside every day, so please send in a jacket, hat, and mittens with name on them for outdoor play.
