Squires Newsletter South: December 2012

December is here and the students have been very busy in the Squires room! We have enjoyed making turkey crafts, celebrating Thanksgiving, and learning about community helpers. The students have also practiced drawing shapes and writing numbers. December is sure to be a fun month as well. We will spend time learning about bears, winter, and holidays around the world.

Thanks to everyone who took time out of your busy schedules to meet for parent/teacher conferences. I enjoyed discussing all the great things your child has been working on and look forward to sharing all of their accomplishments with you in the future.

With winter fast approaching, the temperatures are getting cooler. Please be sure to check your child’s cubby to make sure they have an appropriate change of clothes. Also, we WILL be going outside whenever weather permits and temperatures are 40 degrees and above so please make sure your child has outdoor appropriate clothing.
