Lords and Ladies Newsletter East: September 2012

August Happenings

The Lords and Ladies Class has come so far this summer in our journey around the world. We learned about the always delicious Italian food, the bouncy kangaroos in the Australian Outback, the wonderful foods of Asia and finishing up the month with our transportation week to take us back home for the beginning of the school year. We are kicking off the school year with a more close to home feel as we talk about our families along with a week about “me”.

Welcome to Lords and Ladies!

We are very enthusiastic about our new additions to the classroom this month, David and Connor from the Jesters. Also, we have given a warm welcome to Maddie, a new student as well as Ms. Lindsay, the newest member of our teaching team. We have lots of new ideas in store to improve our classroom and would love to hear feedback from our students and teachers.

Water Cups

Although the weather has begun to cool off we are still burning up energy as we play hard and have activities outside. A water cup is essential all year round in ensuring your child is properly hydrated and happy so please be sure to bring him/her a cup every day. If bringing a cup every day becomes a hassle you are welcome to leave it in our water bucket and we will wash the cups once every morning     ! Thank you!

Annual Academy Picnic

We are very excited about our Back to School Night on Wednesday September 5th! We anticipate lots of questions about the upcoming academic year and are ready to to give out some exciting news!

Potty Charts

Our pottying success has been phenomenal! Thank you for your vigilance and cooperation in transitioning your child into pottying success! If you have not talked to Ms. Lindsay or Ms. Molly about your child’s potty progress yet, please make sure to do so. Also, be sure to check daily sheets and cubbies to keep your child’s teachers in supply of diapers, wipes, clothes and pull ups.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to speak with us or Mr. Jordan.

~ Ms. Lindsay, Ms. Molly, and Ms. Jessica
