Sentries Newsletter East: April 2012

We have been having a lot of fun learning about Dr. Seuss, the weather, spring, and spiders and insects.  We are planning many more fun activities throughout April and beyond.  Please check your child’s cubby for a full set of seasonal clothes.  Also, as the weather changes quickly during these months, please try to send in a light jacket for the cool parts of the day.  Boots or old sneakers for outdoor explorations are a helpful thing also. We ask that your child come to school in closed toed shoes, please no flip flops, crocs or sandals.  We are coming into the time when kids get thirsty outside, and we encourage you to send a water bottle/cup with a spill proof lid for them to get fresh water each day to take outside.  Please make sure their name is on the bottle or cup. This cup should go home each night to wash away the germs.
