Dukes and Duchesses Newsletter East: January 2012

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!  It is no surprise that 2012 is upon us, considering how quickly the holiday season whizzed by.  December was another great month in our classroom, despite how busy we were preparing for the holidays and our annual Nutcracker performance.  Thank you all so much for your help last month; the timeliness in which I received the children’s Nutcracker costumes, as well as your willingness to contribute to the festivities of our classroom, etc. was the best present of all! It led to a fairly stress-free December, which naturally means more fun for all in our class.

Now that the holidays are officially over, I plan on taking it reeeaaaal sloooooow in our classroom this month.  No matter how stress-free the holidays are, there is a constant sense of urgency during them, so this month we are all going to kick our feet up and relax.  I figure the best way to do that is to start off the month with a pajama day, so please keep that in mind for Tuesday, January 3rd. Until the next newsletter, I will see you in the classroom!

Miss Remy
