Squires Newsletter South: June 2011

Ahhhhhhh! Things are starting to heat up now. Summer is here. June is sure to bring more warm weather. This is a great time to make sure your child has sunscreen and weather-appropriate clothes in his/her cubby. May was such a wonderful month. We celebrated our Moms and learned all about the works of Eric Carle. We also explored insects, birds, and frogs. All of that helped us get in tune with nature. In June, we will be exploring the ocean, celebrating Father’s Day, exploring the summer season, and celebrating Independence Day. We will also be having water play every Wednesday afternoon during the month of June. We will use our time on the Racetrack, 3:00-3:45, to play in sprinklers and use different water toys. Please bring water clothes, water shoes (or shoes that can get wet), and a towel each week for your child to participate.
