Squires Newsletter South: October 2010

September was such a great month.  All of the kids are doing a great job getting used to the routines and expectations of the class.  I am so proud of them.  We also had our first Potty Party of the school year to celebrate a friend’s major accomplishment.  This is a little party we have as a class at snack time as each of our friends becomes potty trained.  It also gives us a chance to encourage those friends who are still working hard learning to potty and to celebrate again those friends who have already made it. October will be very busy as we learn about pumpkins, bats, spiders, and Halloween.  At the same time, our class will be growing and Ms. Emily will be rejoining the Squires as our other full-time teacher.  She is wonderful and we are so excited to spend more time with her.
