Pixies Newsletter East: October 2010

September Recap

September has been a great month! We have welcomed a few new friends to the Pixie class and we are excited to continue getting to know them. We also had a great Back to School Night this month, so thank you for coming and spending time with us!

Coming in October

We will continue working on sign language with the children this month to help with communication. We will be sure to let you know what we have been learning in case you would like to work with your children at home. Now that autumn is here, we will begin to notice the changing of the seasons outside. We will read books and plan activities for your children to encourage their curiosity about the changes they see. We also have a variety of art activities planned for children to explore, such as print making with leaves and paint. We also want to give you a heads up about upcoming events in November and December. We will have the Academy Feast on Nov. 19 and the Nutcracker performance will be on Dec. 15, with more information to follow. We would like to thank all of our families for your support with our classroom. We always welcome any questions or concerns you might have.

We look forward to having a great month in October, and as always we thank you for sharing your children with us!
