Knights and Maidens Newsletter South: July 2010

Dear Parents,

In the month of June, the Knights & Maidens have enjoyed the Dairy Farm, celebrating Father’s and other special men in our lives, and ended the month with lots of pizza.  With all of that, we thoroughly enjoyed our field trip to the dairy farm and Shakespeare’s Pizza.  Thank you so much to the parents who were able to join us and help us out on those adventures.  It makes an awesome difference.

During the month of July, the Knights & Maidens will be learning about Independence Day, camping, oceans, and Disney.

Water Play is going to change a bit during the month of July.  It will be held on Tuesday mornings 10:30-11:00.  It would be great if the kids came dressed in their suits with dry clothes over it and a towel, water shoes, and dry underwear in a bag.  This will help as it is very time consuming to dress the whole class in water play attire and still fit in all of our other morning activities.

Please keep a close eye on the door for permission forms for field trips.  We will be camping at Academy East on July 16th and visiting the Boone County Fair Barnyard on July 29th.

As always, if there are ever any questions or concerns, please feel free to speak with us.
